At 8pm on Thursday 27th September, Mary-Anne Collis from Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels joins us to talk about Red Squirrel Conservation in Central Scotland.
Red squirrels are making a steady recovery in this area thanks to the efforts of landowners, volunteers and the amazing work of Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels.
However, the project still faces incredible challenges. Red squirrels are entirely absent from large areas of central and lowland Scotland and, according to reliable reports, could be extinct in England within the next ten years.
All of this can be changed, however.
Join us on 27th September to learn more.
Again PRE-BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL. Please email Argaty Red Kites at info@argatyredkites.co.uk or call 01786 841 373 to reserve your space.
This is a free event, however should you wish to make a donation to Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels, there will be collection tins on the night.
