Organised by Aberdeenshire Council Ranger Service. Hunt for the tracks and signs of red squirrels and other woodland creatures on this gentle ramble around Denlethen Woods.

About this event

As we head into Autumn the animals of the woodland are foraging and storing food for the winter ahead. Join us on a hunt for the tracks and signs of red squirrels and other woodland creatures on this gentle exploration of Denlethen Woods. Who has been eating the cones and how can you tell? What evidence will we find of our elusive wildlife as we head into the quieter parts of the wood? Find out more about our red squirrels and what we can do to help them as we are joined on our walk by Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels. Please book a place for every person attending.
