Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels’ Dr Emma Sheehy and Giuliana Sinclair will be speaking alongside Dr Peter Garson of the Gatehouse Squirrel Group at the upcoming Galloway Glens Landscape Partnership talk on Wednesday 17th February.

The online event is one of a series of natural sciences talks hosted by the Galloway Glens Landscape Partnership and will include three presentations.

Presentation 1: Saving Red Squirrels in Dumfries & Galloway. An introduction to the red squirrel’s plight and how local volunteers are taking action at the landscape-scale.

Presentation 2: Local action for red squirrel conservation. Volunteers making a difference in Gatehouse of Fleet.

Presentation 3: Pine Martens and Squirrels: What we know so far! Understanding of the relationship between pine martens and squirrels in the UK and Ireland, illustrating what we know, what we don’t yet know, and what the future may hold.
