Take part in the Great Scottish Squirrel Survey!
Did you know that red squirrels thrive in urban environments?
When grey squirrels are not present, reds happily occupy urban areas. This is particularly true for Aberdeen, as red squirrels are returning to city life with the support of SSRS.
Keep an eye out for red squirrels in your neighbourhood, and submit your best photo to squirrels@scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk for your chance to win a personalised red squirrel walk with a member of our North East team, and an adorable squirrel cuddly toy!
Photographs must clearly show that they were taken in an urban environment—featuring backgrounds such as a garden squirrel feeder, wheelie bin, or even a well-manicured garden.
Deadline for submissions: 12pm, Sunday 8th October
