A red squirrel's bushy tail is a very useful thing. It helps with balance, communication, and even acts as a cosy winter blanket. So this poor red squirrel in Fife is really missing out!
The photo was sent in to us by Gillian Fyfe. The squirrel has been a regular visitor to her garden since last year, so is clearly an adaptable and resourceful little animal.
