A new group is being formed to help conserve Scotland’s iconic Red Squirrel. If you would like to find out more about Red Squirrels in our area and what we can do to help conserve this iconic species, please come along.
The meeting will be held at the Education Centre at Threave Gardens. From Castle Douglas turn right before the main entrance (towards Rhonehouse) then take the first left and the car park is on the right. Walk up the drive to the Education Centre.
The evening will consist of a slide show by renowned local naturalist Keith Kirk, followed by Dr Stephanie Johnstone who will outline the work being done by Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels.
